Open a command prompt window, navigate to your Fallout 3 install direcory, and type 'fose_loader -editor'. Scripts written with these new commands must be created via the G.E.C.K. If you use a desktop shortcut to launch Fallout 3 normally, just update the shortcut to point to fose_loader.exe instead of Fallout3.exe or FalloutLauncher.exe. Launch Fallout by running fose_loader.exe from the Fallout3 directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder, and should contain files called Fallout3.exe, FalloutLauncher.exe and the G.E.C.K.

It is recommended to go through the vanilla game first, then move onto the modding side of things.ДЄbove all, have fun and if you want more visit the nexus for more mods like adding home's, quests, weapons, armour's etc.This is just a basic idea of thing's that you can do, and some of my favorite mods.ДЎ. The following are a few programs to install first that lach onto and into your fallout 3 directory, this is perfectly safe, just be careful and just as a precaution before installing any mods etc.please remember to just copy and paste you entire Fallout 2 folder onto another drive, so you are able to copy and paste it back in all it's vanilla-ish-ness if you make a mistake and can't work out what you need to take out. The installation sections here are parts of the readme's that come with the mod/s, please visit the repected author's page/thread over at the nexus forum's if you need a hand or want to give credit to the author. The modder's have been hard at work on these over the years and they have always got me going back for more as more has become available and my pc power has grew.
